Sales Manager
Responsibilities:
• Implement all sales activities and maximize business opportunities;
• Ensure comprehensive and complete coverage of own portfolio;
• Covering all levels of accounts managerial and departmental executives for a comprehensive
client servicing, achieving targets and maximum productivity;
• Evolve strategies to address the requirements in meeting the company segment targets, as well
as the overall hotel revenue budget;
• Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed targets set;
• Detailed knowledge of all services provided by the company and all relevant facts and figures of
the company;
• Takes a proactive approach to sales, anticipating potential opportunities and developing new
opportunities;
• Sets realistic, measurable sales standards, objectives and goals (for sales activities and
revenues) to be achieved;
• Resolves guest issues that arise from the sales process and brings issues to the attention of
leadership as appropriate. This includes feedback from transient business and conference,
events;
• Ensure that selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximize up selling
opportunities whenever possible;
• Creative in growing the business growth;
Requirements (Key Skills)
• Two years’ minimum experience of selling in the hospitality/event industry;
• BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field;
• Proven negotiation skills, with high conversion ratios;
• Excellent experience in driving sales and meeting & exceeding targets;
• Strong customer development and relationship management skills;
• Ability to research and identify & develop new prospects;
• A good knowledge of the tourism and hospitality industry;
• Computer literate with excellent presentation skills and highly sophisticated communication
skills;
• Guest and service oriented attitude, backed up by a proactive approach and a strong drive for
results;
• Solid computer skills;
• Must be a team player, have strong interpersonal skills, and work well independently as well as
part of a team, flexible attitude and ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs;
• Strong project management skills;
• Able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication in English language;
• Understanding Hotel Operations;
• Supervising Operations;
