EPPC Albania on behalf of its client, one of the largest International companies, which operates in the production and retail & wholesale of aluminum products, is currently recruiting a HSE Manager.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Review and develop all aspects of the Company’s Health & Safety and Environmental Policy and activity and ensure that they are implemented consistently across the Company;
2. Monitor, evaluate, and review existing, new, and upcoming, Health & Safety and Environmental legislation and ensure that the Company has systems and procedures in place to meet legal compliance;
3. Work proactively with managers and other key staff to establish and maintain a program of continuous improvement in the management of Health & Safety and Environmental within their areas of responsibility, which includes conducting regular audits;
4. Ensure that rigorous risk assessment and accident management systems are in place, to undertake risk assessment processes, to identify hazards and to ensure that appropriate control measures are in place;
5. Maintain a central record of all risk assessments and monitor recording within all the sectors of the company’s production & auxiliary areas, as well. Approve risk assessments for different sectors of the company, work experience and workplace assessments;
6. Ensure that appropriate records are maintained in compliance with legal requirements;
7. Design, update and deliver training sessions on key areas of Company activity in relation to Health & Safety and Environmental and support the delivery of other training programs, including new staff general instruction;
8. Ensure compliance with, and implementation of, all Company’s policies and procedures that impact on the delivery of effective Health and Safety systems, including Data Protection, and Safeguarding;
9. Provides once a year or more frequently upon request, written reports on results, progress and reviews, systems to the company's head departments and GM;
10. Proposes solutions and improvements to HSE management regarding production processes and facilities.
Requirements for this position:
• Polytechnic University Degree;
• 3-5 years of experience as HSE or similar position;
• Very good knowledge of English (Greek language is preferably);
• Advanced knowledge of PC skills;
• Creative, organizational with leading abilities and cooperative with others;
• Ability to communicate, think analytically and work under pressure;
• Persuasion, integrity, confidentiality.
