EPPC Albania on behalf of its client, an international company, leader in the production of construction materials, is currently recruiting a Procurement Specialist.
Major responsabilities:
Maintain and improve relations with current base suppliers, check and renegotiate terms based on volumes;
Identify suppliers of goods and services, negotiate terms with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, lead time to delivery, expectations, etc;
Ensure backup of supplier per each RM and key services (Equipment’s maintenance, spare parts etc);
Coordinate business procurement needs with procurement portfolio and ensure goods availability at all times;
Create purchase orders with supply requests;
Monitor RM and other inventory to ensure the flow of goods remains positive, in close cooperation with Business Owner;
Attend meetings with the legal department to ensure any contractual obligations are favorable to the company;
Timely submit various reports (monthly, weekly), analyzing gaps between supply and demand, such as materials issues, capacity constraints;
Use central tool to enter procurement data and savings initiatives, monitor, report;
Attend and implement guidelines as provided from Cluster Central Procurement Department.
Requirements for this position are:
Bachelor degree, in finance field preferred;
Proven experience working as a procurement specialist in the same area required;
Min 3-5 years’ work experience in procurement department (experience serving as purchaser in a manufacturing company – preferred);
Additional certification in the field of procurement (preferably, not mandatory);
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills;
Flexible to work long hours as demanded by projects;
Able to travel to meet vendors and suppliers as necessary;
Thorough knowledge ERP systems – PO module and Stock module (Navision 2016 ERP system knowledge requirement – preferred.
