Digital Marketing Specialist
Job Purpose
Under the supervision of assigned supervisor Digital Marketing Specialist will create, coordinate, implement and monitor the online content, publications, promotional materials, communications and presence in several websites and social media. He / She should also be well-versed in digital marketing concepts, principles and tactics. We are looking for an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Specialist that will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans and will help the company reach its targets from brand awareness to products promotion.
Responsibilities and Duties
•Write, develop, schedule and monitor online content production and publication
•Establish the main and distinctive elements of the online content, promotional communications and materials
•Coordinate the development and production of internal and external publications, promotional materials and communications, including web-based communications and social media outlets; and edit, proofread, and design materials as needed
•Craft engaging content and manage multi-channel communications on Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook and numerous other media and websites
•Coordinate and monitor the design and publication of their content ensuring they are aligned with the promotion plan and marketing strategy
•Continually test posting and content strategy to determine the optimal approach to reaching and engaging various segments of our target audiences
•Monitor and report on ROI metrics showing impact and alignment with overall marketing, sales and business objectives
•Maintain metrics of performance for all (online/offline) promotions, media placements within publications of interest, online advertisements and competitive analytics
•Research and provide reports on website trends, visitor traffic analysis and search engine optimization best practices
•Support targeted search engine optimization campaigns and strive for leadership positions on major search engines for the company web site based on core messaging and reach to target audiences
Qualifications and Skills
•Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Public Relations, Social Sciences / Communication or related fields.
•At least two years of experience in digital marketing, social media marketing or corporate communications
•Strong familiarity with the business applications of social media platforms
•Very good knowledge of digital marketing and/or social media trends and best practices.
•Knowledge of basic design principles to create flyers, images, web banners.
•Superior writing, editing, presentation and organization skills
•Understanding of social media metrics; able to interpret the results and take action to increase effectiveness of social media campaigns.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to interact with staff at all levels of the organization with a professional and courteous attitude
•Highly organized, manage multiple projects, ability to multi-task and work in a professional work environment
•Ability to think past barriers and find solutions.
