IT Security Engineer
Teleperformance EMEA IT organization is looking for IT Security Engineer
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Assumes overall responsibility for the technical implementation, maintenance, tuning, and administration of IT security technologies. Works with operations and IT management to create, document, implement, and manage policies, procedures, and practices that ensure the availability, integrity, and privacy of information assets on centrally managed computer systems. Assists in the compliance with relevant information technology laws and policies.
PRIMARY DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
• Implementing, maintaining, and supporting of IDS/IPS sensors
• Implementing, maintaining, and supporting of enterprise log management products
• Implementing, maintaining, and supporting of enterprise file/folder level encryption products
• Implementing, maintaining, and supporting of enterprise vulnerability management solution
• Implementing, maintaining, and supporting of enterprise File Integrity Monitoring solution
• Implementing, maintaining, and supporting of enterprise Password Management solution
• Support Network, Systems, and Desktop teams with vulnerability remediation, security issues, and compliance objectives
• Support Network, Systems, and Desktop teams with system monitoring and log reviews, designing reports and dashboards
• Support Network, Systems, and Desktop teams with change management coordination and compliance, configuration review and documentation, DR/BCP initiatives
• Support Security team in internal, client, and third-party security audits/assessments, providing evidences of compliance, etc.
• Support administration of enterprise anti-virus products
• Support administration of remote access solutions (VPN, Secure Access, 2-factor)
• Assist in identifying anomalous and suspicious activity that should be actively monitored and alerted on for security risks and or exposure
• Provide end-user support for security technologies during business hours and off business hours (on-call duty)
• Align current business processes with client requirements and external security standards/obligations such as PCI DSS, ISO27001 and ISO27002, HIPAA, BITS, etc
• Identifying and remedying security deficiencies and gaps with business suitable controls
• Investigates security needs, and recommends; plans, implements, tests, and monitors information security improvements.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
EDUCATION
• Required: Bachelor's degree or similar education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
• 3 to 6 years of experience in administration, maintenance, and support of IT systems in a large enterprise environment.
• Experienced with the implementation process for PCI DSS, ISO27001 and ISO27002, etc. in a large enterprise environment.
• In-depth working knowledge of Operating Systems such as Microsoft Windows (Server 2012/2016, Win10) and Linux (Debian, Redhat)
• In-depth working knowledge of network protocols and specifically the strengths and weaknesses of such used in security network communications.
• Understanding of common server types (i.e. web servers, database servers) and best practices for securing them
• Direct experience and proficiency in technologies such as Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy, Vulnerability Management Tools, and Log Management solutions.
• Implementation and maintenance of medium/large enterprise solutions and procedures such as log management, anti-virus, file integrity monitoring, etc.
• Familiar with Incident response and investigation techniques.
• Delivery of comprehensive status updates, objectives, reports, and goals to Senior Managers and Executives
• Support the implementation, oversight, and remediation of security gaps in technology
• Managing and driving projects independently and without day to day oversight by management
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
• Knowledge of current technological trends and developments in the area of information security.
• Working knowledge of a broad range of relevant systems platforms, to include Linux and Windows as well as networking platforms such as Cisco, Juniper and Checkpoint.
• Broad and in depth knowledge of IT security products and techniques, network infrastructure, applications, and equipment pertinent to a large, distributed, heterogeneous computing environment.
• Understanding PKIs and SSL certificate infrastructure.
• Ability to work within the security practice aligning to business requirements.
• Ability to plan, implement, test, and monitor information security solutions
• Ability to develop and write systems documentation, and guidelines for technical staff and users.
• Basic understanding of knowledge of DR/BCP processes and techniques.
• Familiarity with security standards, regulations, etc including, but not limited to PCI DSS, ISO27001 and ISO27002, HIPAA, CoBIT, etc.
PERSONAL/PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to provide technical guidance and leadership to professional personnel in area of expertise.
• Ability to work with and communicate and present to Teleperformance clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
• Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
