CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
The position is responsible for leading the Financial Department in ensuring compliance with local laws and global policies, managing budgets and financial performance. The position is also responsible for offering the company the best deals and logistics platform to serve the franchisees with the goal of making their business more profitable. Management responsibilities for very diverse activities within a major part of the business unit, through subordinate managers.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for managing budgets and ensuring accounting compliance;
• Responsible for initiating and coordinating the competitive bidding process;
• Responsible for achieving the best value/cost supplier agreements and contracts;
• Responsible for selecting partners/suppliers that will maintain long sustainable agreements;
• Responsible for developing detailed category plans;
• Ensures appropriate service to other company areas by providing market and product category insights regarding components, prices and quality;
• Maintain category strategy plan by updating it with raw material market evolution and cost components;
• Ensures supplies by extending existing agreements and finding alternatives such as local suppliers or introducing a new supplier in the market;
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 6 to 8 years previous experience: financial experience in supplier negotiations (2-3 years) and logistics + financial experience in accounting and budgeting would be required;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook);
• Demonstrate business and financial acumen to meet strategic objectives and maintain competitive advantage in the marketplace;
• Advanced problem solving skills and analytical capabilities in complex situations;
• Ability to lead and apply organizational and change theories to influence change within the organization;
• Exceptional interpersonal skills: ability to negotiate at higher levels to impact significant business outcomes;
• Previous experience leading and managing the strategy, budget, and people of a core business function;
