Job Description
Teleperformance Group is looking for 2 ACTIVE DIRECTORY EXPERTS
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Assumes overall responsibility for the technical implementation, maintenance, tuning, and
administration of IT technologies such as the management of devices and users. Unix based
administration, management and tuning of Apple Computers and devices will be in scope as well.
Works with operations and IT members located in different countries to create, document,
implement centrally approved and managed solutions that are state of the art technology. Assists IT
Administrators in different locations on high level issues related to Active Directory and the Apple
setup.
PRIMARY DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Implementing, maintaining, and supporting of Apple OSX and Server solutions
• Implementing, maintaining, and supporting of the EMEA Active Directory
• Implementing, maintaining, and supporting of Apple Device Management solutions (MDM)
• Implementing, maintaining, and supporting of Software Deployment and Patching
Management Solutions
• Implementing, maintaining, and supporting of Monitoring Solutions
• Considering proactive tasks to recognize possible issues that could interrupt business in
different locations
• Support administration and implementation of Forest-Wide Active Directory Group Policies
and Groups
• Support administration of Software Deployment Solutions (Landesk, WSUS, Secunia)
• Implementing, configuring, maintaining OSX
• Implementing, configuring, maintaining OSX Server App and 3rd party solutions like
DeployStudio, Munki
• Configuring and maintaining Apple DEP and Apple Profile Manager (MDM)
• Troubleshooting issues remotely or locally involving other teams to profit from knowledge
• Support other Administrators with vulnerability remediation, security issues, and compliance
objectives
• Support Security team in internal, client, and third-party security audits/assessments,
providing evidences of compliance, etc.
• Assist in identifying anomalous and suspicious activity that should be actively monitored and
alerted on for security risks and or exposure.
• Provide end-user support for Active Directory and Apple services during business hours and
off business hours (on-call duty)
• Investigates security needs, and recommends; plans, implements, tests, and monitors
information security improvements.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor's degree or similar education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or
equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
• 3 to 6 years of experience in administration, maintenance, and support of IT systems in a
large enterprise environment.
• Experienced with the implementation of Active Directory and Unix/Linux/Apple based
services.
• In-depth working knowledge of Operating Systems such as Microsoft Windows (2008, 2012,
7,8, 8.1,10), Linux (Debian, Redhat) and Apple OSX.
• In-depth working knowledge of network protocols and specifically the strengths and
weaknesses of such used in Active Directory.
• Basic knowledge of Powershell scripting.
• Understanding of common server types (i.e. web servers, database servers) and best
practices for implementing them.
• Direct experience and proficiency in technologies such as Microsoft Active Directory and
Group Policy, Software Deployment, Patching and Monitoring solutions..
• Implementation and maintenance of medium/large enterprise solutions and procedures such
as Active Directory Domains, Apple Profile Manager, Apple Open Directory Services, DHCP Server,
File Server, Print Server, DFS Replication, Software Deployment and Patching of applications on
Windows and Apple Computers.
• Familiar with Incident response and investigation techniques.
• Delivery of comprehensive status updates, objectives, reports, and goals to Senior Managers
and Executives
• Support the implementation, oversight, and remediation of technology gaps.
• Managing and driving projects independently and without day to day oversight by
management
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
• Knowledge of current technological trends and developments in the area of Directory
Services and Apple Systems Management Tools.
• Working knowledge of a broad range of relevant systems platforms, to include Linux and
Windows as well as preferably networking platforms such as Cisco, Juniper and Checkpoint.
• Broad and in depth knowledge of IT security products and techniques, network
infrastructure, applications, and equipment pertinent to a large, distributed, heterogeneous
computing environment.
• Understanding PKIs and SSL certificate infrastructure.
• Ability to work within the security practice aligning to business requirements.
• Ability to plan, implement, test, and monitor Computer Management solutions
• Ability to develop and write systems documentation, and guidelines for technical staff and
users.
• Familiarity with the Active Directory Forest and all it’s roles and features.
PERSONAL/PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES:
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to provide technical guidance and leadership to professional personnel in area
of expertise.
• Ability to work with and communicate and present to Teleperformance clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of
constituencies in a diverse community.
• Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
