POSITION Project Coordinator
BASE LOCATION TIRANA - ALBANIA
EMPLOYMENT Full Time
REPORTING TO PROGRAM MANAGER
JOB PROPOSE
The Project Coordinator is an integral member of the project team responsible for delivering building development projects of varying size and complexity. The Project Coordinator is responsible for directing, organizing and controlling project activities, under the direction of a Programm Manager.
JOB MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Attend stockholders meetings and assist with determination of project requirements.
• Assist the PM in the drafting and issuance of project proposals, project’s, tenders, budgets, cash flows and preliminary schedules.
• Track the progress and quality of work being performed by design disciplines/trades.
• Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
• Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the PM and project team.
• Ensure projects’ goals are met in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Review field inspection reports from Consultants throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Track & manage all documents and file of the projects.
• Prepare reports and ensure all required project close out documents are obtained.
• Communicate ideas for improving the projects processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others.
• Keep the Programm Manager (PM) and others informed about project status and issues that may impact beneficiaries and stockholders relations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND
REQUIREMENTS
1.University Degree in a related subject
2. Professional designation
3. Knowledge of project management
4. Well-developed interpersonal and team skills and proven ability of flexibility in demanding situations.
5. Previous work experience, ideally with non-governmental organizations would be an advantage.
6. Excellent written and spoken English. Knowledge of another foreign language is an asset.
7. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook Express.
8. Willing to travel and work beyond working hours to meet deadlines.
9. 1 to 2 years planning and/or coordination experience
