Job Description
Guest Relation Officer (GRO) Overall responsibility of the position is to provide service to the guests and be their “guide” and “ their problem solver”, through:
- Welcoming the guests and creating a rapport with them;
- Answering their requests and addressing their complaints;
- Assisting them with any inqueries.
- Making Curtesy calls
- Preparing VIP Amenities
The GRO maintains a strong knowledge of guest’s names in order to create a friendly and supporting rapport with them, from welcoming the guest once entering the hotel, make their stay in the hotel enjoyable taking care of all their inquiries and farewell upon leaving the hotel wishing them to come back.
Qualification and Skills:
- Previous experience as Guest Relations / Guest Services
- Very good command of English language
- Ability to use computerized systems Attributes:
- Excellent communication
- Guest orientation
- Ability to adjust to changing situations
- Ability to plan, organize and detail oriented
- Multicultural awareness
- Proactive
