Job Description
General Purpose:
As Concierge, you will maintain an immaculate lobby and ensures
consistently-delivered exceptional customer service to guests. The
Concierge interacts with guests and contributes to their first
impressions and, therefore, must perform the following tasks to the
highest standards:
Key work activities and responsibilities:
• Offer consistent, high standard service and assistance to guests and
maintain a lobby presence that offers courteous and attentive service.
• Maintain awareness of guests (including tour groups) arriving and
departing and to immediately offer services to all guests as required;
confirm all requirements are actioned.
• Maintain up to date information on State-wide attractions, events,
experiences and destinations and provide this to guests as required;
assist with bookings/reservations including confirmation.
• Transport luggage within required service standard guidelines for
all arriving and departing guests; facilitate the storage of luggage.
• Co-ordinate drivers and guest transportation requirements.
• Record and ensure delivery of all messages and parcels to guest rooms.
• Provides warm welcome and anticipation of guest needs throughout
their stay in our hotel.
• Maintains awareness of cultural differences needed to meet guest's
specific needs and requirements.
• Provides recommendations and arranges services for guests as
requested (e.g., car rental, airline tickets, office services, beauty
and barber services, baby-sitting, repairs, shopping, etc.).
• Provides check-in and check-out services and handles reservations
when necessary.
• Maintains knowledge of daily house-count, arrivals/departures, VIPs,
scheduled in-house group names, background, activities, locations, and
times as well as special requests/arrangements.
• Supports and coordinates day-to-day operations with Front Office
team and food & beverage team, to keep them focused on the critical
components of operations and ensure that standards are meeting the
expectations of the customers on a daily basis.
• Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and
service levels.
Foreign Languages:
• Very good knowledge of Albanian and English
• Knowledge of German or other foreign languages are an advantage
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor degree
• Experience in the guest services, front desk, or related professional area
• Knowledge of business principles
• Knowledge and experience of relevant software applications
Key Competencies:
• The ability to listen and respond to demanding guest needs to be
able to read between the lines and ask the right questions
• Excellent interpersonal, personal presentation and communication skills
• Ability to maintain privacy, confidentiality, efficiency and
accuracy with all guest dealings and requirements

service, maintaining a primary focus on guest needs and service
opportunities to a wide range of personalities
